The Tour Championship boasts a $1 million dollar purse in which the winner takes home $180,000. This purse is tied with two other Nationwide tournaments for the largest purse and first prize winnings on the tour. The Tour Championship event is arguably the most important on the tour considering the top 25 ranked Nationwide Tour players will be given PGA TOUR cards at the conclusion of this event. This tournament is non-stop excitement with many golfers futures riding on each and every shot.
