Since fast food won’t help shed the pounds, we’ve got to find other ways to satisfy our tastes. This ‘chinese’ beef from LaChoy started with only 2.5 grams of fat per serving and 3 grams of fiber. The fat was so low that I added another can of beef with gravy, for only about 2 more grams of fat.

Gotta add more veggies, of course (quickly stir fried red cabbage, celery and onions were a perfect addition). Then place the Chinese creation on top of whole wheat pasta and wow “dinner is served!” My family loved it, the FitClubbers loved it and so will you:) All that flavor took only about 10-15 minutes to prepare and served my family of 4 for less than $10. The best chinese restaurant in town can’t even come close to offering that deal! *NOTE: To keep your sodium intake in check, add canned foods every now and then to the whole foods you cook for yourself (and be sure to rinse and drain canned meats, veggies, beans, etc. before you eat).
